Live & Learn is a dynamic learning network of locally registered organisations operating in nine countries across South-East Asia, the Indian Ocean and the Pacific.

Their work focus on education and training to support communities in sustainable livelihoods, food security, disaster risk resilience, women’s empowerment,  WASH and disaster relief.

Wildeye was excited to get involved with the creation of the Arts for Advocacy initiative, which involved the creation of two guidebooks for student-led advocacy campaigns. The teacher guidebook helps teachers to support any club or group in their school plan and implement advocacy campaigns. The student guidebook has been written so that students can work through each activity and be engaged in the process of advocacy.

The activities in the Arts for Advocacy guidebooks focus on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), but the advocacy planning process the students learn gives them confidence to use new skills to advocate for positive change in many other areas too.

Wildeye also created a website where the two workbooks can be downloaded and case studies can be shared as momentum grows.
